Palomita

The film traces the journey of Jorge “Thriller” Gómez, a graffiti writer and brand designer, moving through the heart of Latinx culture at the Alameda Swapmeet, Downtown LA, and Inglewood. Woven into these landscapes are the women who shape his community and his world. At its center, a poem unfolds—an intimate meditation on fatherhood, on raising a daughter, and on the weight of expectations and trials that await them. Through love and resilience, the film reveals a simple truth: whatever comes, we endure it together.

Jorge ‘Thriller’ Gómez is a brand designer and graffiti writer born in Guadalajara, Mexico and raised in Inglewood, CA. At the age of 10, Mr. Gómez was introduced to graffiti when he witnessed his classmates sketch on their folder. Including branding, advertising, interior design, marketing, social media, copywriting, video production, mural production, project management, sign painting, sign printing, and silk-screening

In 2020 Mr. Gómez opened The Money Studio, where they build brands for businesses owned by People of Color, in the city of Inglewood. They encourage companies to convey their stories and preserve their cultures.
